What you need on site

A working garden hose within 50 feet of where the unit sits, plus a dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet for the blower. Some wet units need more than one hose hookup and we rent splitters. A wet unit on grass makes mud, so pick the spot with that in mind.

Planning it in an Orleans Parish park?

Park rules here are not uniform, and two of them catch people out every year:

New Orleans City Park prohibits bounce houses, water slides and water-play structures outright.
Audubon Park allows them with a permit — $75 for 25 or more guests, $150 at the Tree of Life. Facilities run 6am to 9pm and events cannot start after 5pm. Reserve about a month out.
Neighborhood playgrounds are run by NORD — confirm with them before you book, and expect to supply your own power.

What does a water slide need in my yard?

A garden hose within 50 feet and a dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet for the blower. Access has to clear at least 36 inches at the narrowest point of the whole path.

Will it tear up the grass?

A wet unit on grass creates mud. Put it off to the side rather than the middle of the lawn, and away from anything you do not want soaked.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain is fine on a wet unit. Wind at 20 mph or higher, or lightning, means everyone exits and the blower is unplugged until it passes.

Do you deliver water slides to Algiers?
