How much does it cost to rent a bounce house in New Orleans?

Rental prices depend on the unit, the day and where it is going. On top of the rental itself, expect a $35 park location fee if you are in a park, $25 for turf or concrete setups, and an additional insured certificate at 4.5% of the order for parks, commercial and school locations. Minimum order amounts apply depending on availability. Call 504-467-9424 with your date and we will quote it.

How far in advance should I book?

A few weeks for most dates. Two windows sell out first every year: October, for school and church fall festivals, should be booked by August; and late May, for field days and graduations, should be booked by March. Spring crawfish boil weekends should be booked by January.

How wide does my gate need to be?

At least 36 inches for a bounce house and 42 inches for a bigger game. Measure the narrowest point of the whole path, not just the gate itself. A gate that is too narrow is the single most common reason a delivery cannot be completed.

What kind of power do you need?

A dedicated 20 amp circuit for each blower, within 100 feet of the unit, with nothing else running on that breaker. We must use our own power cords. If power is lost during your rental because the circuit was shared or tripped, refunds are not provided.

What if there is no outlet where I want the unit?

We rent generators. Every park setup requires one, at one generator per inflatable. Tell us when you book rather than on the day of delivery.

Do you set up on concrete?

Yes. Grass setups are staked and concrete or blacktop setups are anchored with sandbags. Indoor setups are ballasted so nothing damages the floor.

What do water slides need?

A working garden hose within 50 feet of where the unit will sit. Some wet units need more than one hose hookup, and we rent splitters if you are short. Note that a wet unit on grass creates mud, so choose the spot accordingly.

What is your weather policy?

If winds reach 20 mph or higher, or you see or hear lightning, everyone exits the unit immediately and the blower is unplugged. Once it passes, plug back in and it re-inflates in a couple of minutes. Light rain is fine on a wet unit.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel at least two days before your event and everything you have paid becomes a raincheck, valid for three months and usable once. Inside two days, payments are forfeited. If the forecast turns, call us early.

How many people need to supervise?

One adult monitor per unit, for the entire time the unit is in use. We also provide trained attendants, which we recommend for a rock climbing wall, dunk tank, archery tag or knockerballs, and for any event where alcohol is present.

What are the rules for riders?

Ages 3 and up. A 200 lb weight limit per rider. Socks on and shoes off. No glasses, jewelry or sharp objects in pockets. No food, drinks, gum or candy inside. No flips, wrestling or climbing on walls or netting. Group riders by similar size and age.

Why is silly string not allowed?

Silly string, confetti and face paint permanently stain inflatable vinyl and cannot be cleaned off. Damage from them is charged to the renter. This is the most commonly broken rule we have.

Do you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Parks, commercial locations, schools and campuses generally require one, and it is charged at 4.5% of the order. Send us the exact wording and the parties that need to be named and we will match it.

Can I put a bounce house in a public park?

It depends entirely on the park. New Orleans City Park prohibits bounce houses, water slides and water-play structures outright. Audubon Park allows them with a permit. Jefferson Parish parks require you to use a vendor from their approved list, require a shelter rental, allow dry units only, and require a generator.

Is Bounce World approved for Jefferson Parish parks?

Yes. Bounce World is on the Jefferson Parish Recreation approved Spacewalk and Party Play Equipment vendor list. JPRD does not allow equipment from companies that are not on that list. JPRD also requires your vendor receipt at least one week before your event.

When do you deliver and pick up?

We deliver before your start time and pick up either at your party end time or the next morning, depending on our route that day. We will text you to confirm. You do not need to be home for pickup, just leave gate access and the blower plugged in.

What areas do you serve?

Metro New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, the Westbank, the River Parishes and the Northshore, including Thibodaux, Covington, Slidell, Pearl River and Bogalusa. Outer areas may carry a minimum order.

Do you do school, church and corporate events?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We handle school fall festivals and fairs, church events, summer camps, graduations, college events, corporate family days, trade shows and conventions. We do site visits, plan layout and power with you, and supply trained attendants.
