The wall is the unit where that experience matters most — harnessing, belaying and rotation are handled by a trained attendant, not by a volunteer. Do you provide someone to run the rock wall?Yes, and in practice it is not optional — the climbing wall is one of the units we specifically staff with a trained attendant, along with the dunk tank, archery tag and knockerballs. The attendant handles harnessing, belaying and rotation. What age and size can climb?Ages 3 and up with a 200 lb weight limit per climber, same as our other units. Climbers need socks and shoes appropriate for climbing, and no loose jewelry or items in pockets. How tall is it and how many climb at once?26 feet, with three climbers on the wall at a time. How much space does the rock wall need?A large, level footprint and a lot of overhead clearance — check for trees, branches, awnings and power lines before you choose the spot. Give us your site dimensions when you call and we will confirm it fits. Can it be set up on concrete or indoors?Talk to us about your specific site. Grass is staked, concrete and blacktop are anchored with sandbags, and indoor setups are ballasted — but a climbing wall has height requirements that rule out most indoor rooms. Is the rock wall allowed at schools and parks?Schools regularly book it, and they generally require a certificate of insurance, charged at 4.5% of the order. For parks, check the specific park — Jefferson Parish allows dry equipment with a shelter rental and a generator you arrange, while New Orleans City Park prohibits inflatables. How far ahead should I book it?Earlier than you think, especially for late May field days and graduations — book those by March — and for October fall festivals, which should be booked by August.
