Common questions about dry slide rentalsWhat is a dry slide?A full-size inflatable slide run without water. Same height and thrill as a water slide, no hose, no mud — which makes it the answer for cooler months, indoor events and any venue where water is not allowed. Why rent a dry slide instead of a water slide?Three common reasons: the venue prohibits water play — Jefferson Parish parks do, for example — the weather is too cool for a soaking, or you are indoors. A dry slide also keeps the yard usable afterwards. Can a water slide just be used dry?Ask us before you assume it. Some units are built to run either way and some are not, and running a wet-only unit dry is hard on riders and on the vinyl. Tell us what you want and we will point you at the right unit. How much room does a dry slide need?More than a bounce house. Access needs to clear about 42 inches at the narrowest point for the bigger units, and you need real clearance overhead — these are tall. A dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet powers the blower. Can it go on concrete or indoors?Yes. Grass is staked, concrete and blacktop are anchored with sandbags, and indoor setups are ballasted so nothing damages the floor. Turf and concrete setups carry a $25 fee. How many adults need to watch it?One adult per unit for the whole time it is in use, watching the top of the slide and the landing. Ages 3 and up, 200 lb per rider, one rider at a time, socks on.
