Vacation Bible School Rentals
Multi-day summer programming with rotating age groups — and a June heat problem.
VBS runs on a rotation schedule, so throughput per age group matters more than total capacity. If groups of 20 rotate in 25-minute blocks, the unit has to clear 20 kids in under 25 minutes or the schedule breaks.
Multi-day rentals are cheaper per day than single-day, so a full VBS week costs less than you'd expect. Ask us for the week rate rather than pricing one day and multiplying.
Built for rotations
- Standard bounce houses. Best throughput per rotation for elementary groups. Two smaller units beat one large one when groups are rotating.
- Two-lane obstacle courses. Doubles capacity and makes the rotation feel like a race.
- Water units for the afternoon block. June in New Orleans is the whole reason to consider this. Confirm your church allows water play and that a hose reaches the setup spot.
- Spin art or pucker powder as a low-energy station. Not every rotation should be physical, especially in the heat.
Ask for the multi-day rate
Equipment left on site across a VBS week costs meaningfully less per day than five separate rentals, because we deliver and collect once. If you're running Monday to Friday, tell us that upfront — it changes the quote significantly and most churches don't think to ask.
The June heat
- Morning rotations for physical units. By 1pm in late June, an outdoor dry unit in full sun is genuinely hot.
- Shade placement. Tell us where the shade is and we'll place around it.
- Water is the answer if you can. A wet unit transforms an afternoon VBS block. Needs a hose within 50 feet and church approval.
- Indoor fallback. Fellowship halls work — ballasted, no floor damage, ceiling height decides what fits.
Volunteer load across a week
One monitor per unit, every session, all week. That's a real commitment for a volunteer team already running VBS. Count your people first, and let us staff anything competitive. Most churches under-plan supervision for multi-day events specifically because the volunteer roster thins by Wednesday.
The practical stuff
- Power: dedicated 20 amp circuit per blower within 100 feet, or generators from us — one per inflatable. Units stay powered across the week.
- Overnight: equipment stays on site, deflated or secured as appropriate, and re-checked each morning.
- Water: hose within 50 feet for wet units. Splitters available.
- Insurance: certificate at 4.5% of the order.
- Supervision: one monitor per unit, 200 lb per rider, ages 3 and up.
Common questions
Is a multi-day VBS rental cheaper than daily?
Yes, meaningfully. One delivery and one pickup across the week. Ask for the week rate.
Does the equipment stay set up overnight?
Yes, secured, and we re-check it each morning before your first rotation.
Can we do water units?
If your church allows water play and there's a hose within 50 feet. For a June VBS in this city, it's worth arranging.
How do we size for rotations?
Tell us group size and block length, not total enrollment. That's the number that decides whether the schedule holds.
