College Tailgating Rentals
Tulane, Loyola, UNO, Xavier and every Saints lot in the city. Bring something nobody else has.
Tailgate setups live or die on power and footprint. You're usually on asphalt with no outlet and a lot you don't control, so a generator is not optional — we rent them, one per inflatable.
Best tailgate attractions are fast, competitive and don't need shoes off: axe throw simulator, velcro wall, knockerballs, basketball games. Book early for home game Saturdays — they go weeks out.
What works in a parking lot
- Axe throw simulator. Small footprint, head-to-head, and it works with a drink in hand. The best single tailgate purchase we rent.
- Basketball and interactive games. Fast rounds, no queue buildup, easy to run a bracket.
- Velcro wall. Pure spectacle. Draws people from three rows over.
- Knockerballs. If you have the space, this is the one that ends up on everyone's phone.
- Bounce house if it's a family tailgate. Keeps kids contained and parents in their chairs.
Check your lot rules before you book
Stadium and campus lots have their own rules about structures, generators, tent size and where you can set up — and they vary by lot and by event. Confirm with whoever controls your space before you commit, and tell us the footprint you're actually allowed. We'd rather size to your real constraint than show up and not fit.
Asphalt, sun and generators
- Anchoring: parking lots get sandbagged, never staked. We bring the ballast.
- Power: no outlet in a lot, so a generator per inflatable comes from us.
- Heat: September and early October in New Orleans is still summer. Dark vinyl on black asphalt in full sun is hot — plan shade or an early setup.
- Access: 36 inches of clearance for a bounce house, 42 for a bigger game. Lot access routes matter as much as the space itself.
The practical stuff
- Insurance: certificate naming the venue or lot operator, 4.5% of the order at commercial locations. Many stadium lots require it.
- Staffing: one monitor per unit. Trained attendants available — worth it if your group is drinking.
- Rider limit: 200 lb per rider on most units. Axe throw, velcro wall and archery tag have the widest adult range.
- Alcohol and inflatables: we won't put intoxicated riders on equipment. Our attendants enforce that.
Common questions
Can you set up in a stadium parking lot?
Yes, subject to that lot's rules. Sandbagged, not staked, with a generator from us. Confirm your footprint allowance first.
Do we need a generator?
Almost certainly. Lots don't have usable outlets. It's one generator per inflatable and it comes from us.
How early should we book a home game Saturday?
Weeks, not days. Fall Saturdays compete with school festival season, which is our busiest stretch.
What if people have been drinking?
Our attendants won't run intoxicated riders. Build that into your expectations — it's a safety line we don't move.
