Common questions about obstacle course rentalsHow much space does an obstacle course need?A lot more than a bounce house — these are long units. Measure the run you have available and call us with the number before you book, and check the access path clears about 42 inches at its narrowest point. How many kids can run it at once?Most courses run two racers head to head, which is what makes them work at a party — you get a line that keeps moving and a winner every 30 seconds. Group racers by similar size and age. Are obstacle courses only for kids?No. Obstacle courses are one of our most-booked units for school field days, corporate events, church youth nights and college events. Rider rules are ages 3 and up with a 200 lb limit per rider. Can an obstacle course go in a park?In Jefferson Parish parks, yes — dry units are allowed with a shelter rental, and you must arrange a generator because the parks supply no electricity. New Orleans City Park prohibits inflatables. See our park rules page. What power does it need?A dedicated 20 amp circuit within 100 feet for each blower, with nothing else on that breaker. Larger courses use more than one blower. If there is no outlet, we rent generators — one per inflatable. Do you provide someone to run it?We can. We provide trained attendants, and for a busy event with a long line it is worth it. Otherwise one adult must supervise the unit for the entire time it is in use. Still deciding?
