Westbank lots tend to be larger than Eastbank, which opens up the bigger obstacle courses and combos that won't fit an Orleans Parish yard.
What we carry
- Knockerballs. Full-contact and absurd. The best single purchase for teens, adults and team building.
- Zorb balls. Racing format, high spectacle, low skill barrier.
- Archery tag. Team versus team with custom fields. Strategy plus adrenaline, no contact.
- Axe throw simulator. Foam and velcro, head-to-head. Small footprint, easy to run as a bracket.
- Velcro wall. Pure spectacle — people stop to watch, and watchers become your line.
- Basketball and interactive games. Sixty-second rounds, constant turnover.
- Dunk tank. Nothing raises money or draws a crowd like it — if someone recognisable gets in.
Who these are for
This is the category that solves the problem most rentals create: teenagers and adults get bored by a bounce house within twenty minutes. Competition formats keep them there. If your event has anyone over about twelve, at least one of these should be in the mix.
Space and supervision
- Most of these need more floor area than height — good news indoors.
- 42 inches of access clearance for the bigger games.
- One monitor per unit. We supply trained attendants, and for knockerballs and archery tag we'd recommend it.
- 200 lb per rider on most units. Archery tag, axe throw and the velcro wall have the widest adult range.
Parks here run on an approved vendor list
Jefferson Parish Recreation requires you to use a vendor from its approved Spacewalk & Party Play Equipment list — and Bounce World is on it. If a company isn't on that list, JPRD won't let them set up in the park, whatever they tell you.
What JPRD requires at every park:
- You must rent a shelter — equipment is only allowed with a shelter reservation.
- You need a generator. The parks provide no electricity for inflatables. We rent them, one per inflatable.
- Dry units only. Water play equipment is prohibited at JPRD parks.
- $1,000,000 coverage per occurrence with JPRD as certificate holder — we carry it and issue the certificate.
- Your vendor receipt is due to JPRD one week before your event. This is the deadline customers miss most.
Bookings after 7:00 p.m., and any booking with alcohol, also require a police detail. Confirm current rules with JPRD when you reserve.
Westbank parks
- Johnny Jacobs Playground, PARD Playground, Estelle Playground and Parc des Familles all take shelter reservations through JPRD.
- Same rules parish-wide: approved vendor, shelter rental, generator, dry units only.

What is the best game for teenagers and adults?
Knockerballs, followed by archery tag and the axe throw simulator. Standard bounce houses lose that age group quickly.
Do these work indoors?
Yes, given enough floor area. Square footage matters more than ceiling height for most of them, and indoor units are ballasted rather than staked.
Do you provide staff?
Yes. Trained attendants are available and recommended for knockerballs, archery tag and the dunk tank.
