Rock Climbing Wall Rental in New Orleans
26 feet, three climbers at once. The biggest single draw we own.
New Orleans yards are narrow. Shotguns, doubles and camelbacks often have one side gate as the only route to the back, so measure the narrowest point of the whole path before you book. Older wiring also trips easily — check which breaker your outlet is on.
The specs
- 26 feet tall, with three climbers at a time so it doesn't become a bottleneck.
- Built for adults and teenagers as much as kids — this is the attraction that gets grown-ups participating.
- Always staffed by us. Harnesses and belay are not something we hand to a volunteer.
When it's the right call
- School fall festivals and fairs — the anchor attraction and the photo that sells next year's event.
- Corporate family days and trade shows — visible across a hall, and a real draw for a booth.
- Church festivals and college events where you need something teenagers won't walk past.
- End-of-camp day, when parents are on site and deciding about next summer.
When it isn't
Skip it for short events. It needs harnessing, briefing and staff time per climber, so a two-hour open house or a finals-week drop-in will spend its whole window on a queue. It also does not fit in most gyms or ballrooms — check your ceiling height before you build a plan around it.
Space and access
- Vertical clearance is the first question — overhead lines, limbs and roof structures rule out a lot of sites.
- Solid, level footprint and a vehicle route to the spot.
- Power on site, or a generator from us.
- Tell us the surface: it ballasts indoors and on concrete, stakes on grass.
Parks in Orleans Parish
- City Park — not allowed. The park prohibits bounce houses, water slides and water-play structures. Here's the rule and the alternatives.
- Audubon Park — allowed with a permit. $75 for gatherings of 25 or more, $150 at the Tree of Life, and events can't start after 5pm. Permit guide.
- Any public park: a generator from us at one per inflatable, a $35 park fee, and a certificate of insurance at 4.5%.
Common questions
How tall is the rock climbing wall and how many can climb at once?
It is 26 feet tall and accommodates three climbers at a time.
Does the rock wall come with staff?
Yes. It is always staffed by trained attendants because it involves harnesses and belay, which is not suitable for volunteer operation.
Will the rock wall fit indoors?
Usually not. Most school gyms, ballrooms and event halls lack the ceiling height for a 26-foot wall, so vertical clearance should be confirmed before planning around it.
